When you call into one of our phone community lines, you never know whom you will get on the other end! You may hear a British accent, a bit of New York attitude, a little Texas twang.

You may even hear French, German, Australian or a little Canadian drawl. Since our party lines are international, you can really talk to anyone anywhere, so we’d like to bring your attention to a little sex survey that was conducted by Superdrug. They set out to measure once and for all the average number of sexual partners people have in their lifetime and what they found is that that number varies from country to country. They surveyed 2,000 adults from the United States and Europe and below are the results.

Superdrug found that in the United States people had an average of around 7.2 sex partners. It’s always funny when the math breaks it down to a number like 7.2. How do you have .2 sex? But I digress. People in the UK had a close average of 7 partners and the Netherlands came in with 6.9 as the average number of sex partners.

For the United States figures, the survey went on to break it down a bit further by state, which turned out to be pretty interesting. People in Louisiana had the highest average number of partners at 15.7 versus Utah where they came in at 2.6 partners for the average. I guess the lesson here is that if you are looking to hook up in the United States, head to New Orleans in Louisiana for Mardi gras because it will increase your chances! So next time you call into a party line, why not get a conversation started about how many sexual partners the community has had. We think the average will be higher for our callers, since you are such a horny group! You can even roleplay during a one on one with these numbers. You can boast about your robust sex life but then tell your one on one that it doesn’t matter and that it was in the past. All you want now is her. Or you can play down your numbers and let her be the more experienced lover. How to you want to talk about sex stats is up to you but we think it’s a great conversation starter!
