Do you have a snoopy or jealous partner who loves to take your cell phone and go through to see what you have been doing and who have you been talking to? Or what about that annoying friend or relative who wants to see a picture you’re looking at on your phone and after they are done looking it they start to swipe through all your pictures.
There is a phone hack to stop these sneaky snoopers from doing all of these things when they borrow or take your phone. Here’s a guide on how to enable the Guided Access shortcut and lock people into only one app. You can even freeze your phone on one screen, too!
You may be asking yourself what exactly is Guided Access? Guided Access is somewhat of demo mode that stops the phone’s user from leaving the current app that they are in without a passcode. It is great for children who you don’t want to see your nudes, for parents if you don’t want them to see you talking about extracurricular activities or for your stupid friend who might text your partner something dumb as a joke. When you first turn on Guided Access it will ask what you want to limit like the keyboard, disable touch and set a time limit.
You can freeze your phone, which is ideal, if you are just showing someone or a group a picture or video on your cell phone. By disabling all touch controls you lock the phone. It can be annoying having to lock your phone from people, especially when they are the same age as you. But you don’t want unwanted people going through your phone where you might have some hot nude pictures in your phone’s camera roll from someone you met on one of your sex phone lines.
